We collect information you provide directly: name, email address, phone number, investment criteria, buy box parameters, experience level, proof of funds documentation, property listing information including address, financial details, condition, photos, and descriptions. We also collect information automatically including log data, device information, usage data, and cookies.
We use collected information to operate and improve the platform, verify user identity and eligibility, match buyers with relevant property listings, send platform notifications and deal alerts, enforce our Terms of Service, comply with legal obligations, and detect and prevent fraud. We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your information for advertising purposes.
We share your information only with other platform participants as necessary to facilitate connections, with service providers who assist in operating the platform (Supabase, Clerk, Resend, Vercel) under data processing agreements, when required by law or court order, and in connection with a merger or acquisition with notice to affected users.
We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (TLS/SSL), secure cloud infrastructure with access controls, authentication requirements, and regular security reviews. No security system is impenetrable. In the event of a data breach, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting privacy@habilink.com.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, opt out of certain data uses, and data portability. California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). To exercise these rights, contact privacy@habilink.com.
HabiLink is not directed to individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we become aware that a minor has provided us with personal information, we will delete it promptly.
