HabiLink LLC is committed to full compliance with the Fair Housing Act of 1968 (42 U.S.C. Section 3601 et seq.), the Americans with Disabilities Act, and all applicable state and local fair housing and anti-discrimination laws. HabiLink prohibits discrimination based on race, color, national origin, religion, sex, disability, familial status, or any other characteristic protected by applicable federal, state, or local law.
The following conduct is strictly prohibited: deal-submission language that expresses any preference or discrimination based on a protected class, targeting or steering buyers toward or away from properties based on neighborhood demographics, refusing to share deal information with any verified buyer based on a protected characteristic, using coded language to indicate discriminatory preferences, and collecting or using information about protected class characteristics in any transaction-related decision.
All deal submissions on HabiLink must describe the property, not the desired buyer. Geographic descriptions must be based on physical location, not neighborhood demographics. Submissions must include only property criteria relevant to the physical characteristics, financial parameters, and condition of the property, and must comply with HUD advertising guidelines.
HabiLink will review deal submissions for potential fair housing violations, immediately remove any deal submission that violates this policy, suspend or permanently revoke access of any user who violates this policy, cooperate fully with any investigation by HUD or state housing agencies, and report credible evidence of fair housing violations to appropriate authorities where required by law.
Users who observe potential fair housing violations are encouraged to report them immediately to: fairhousing@habilink.com. HabiLink will investigate all reports promptly and take appropriate action.
HabiLink prohibits retaliation against any person who reports a fair housing concern, files a complaint, or participates in a fair housing investigation. Any user who retaliates against another participant for fair housing activity will have their access immediately revoked.
